Accreditation & transparency statement

Everything on this page is repeated in the terms of use and again as explicit acknowledgements in the submission process, before any payment is taken.

This journal holds no accreditation

No body in any country accredits, recognises, or endorses this journal. A publication here does not carry accreditation and should not be presented as though it does. If your institution, funder, or promotion committee requires accredited output, this journal does not meet that requirement, and we will not pretend otherwise.

It is not indexed and has no impact factor

The journal is not listed in Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, PubMed, or any other index, and it has no impact factor, CiteScore, or equivalent metric. Any metric attributed to this journal is fabricated. Our platform identifiers are not DOIs and are not registered with any DOI registration agency.

It is not a predatory journal

Predatory journals solicit submissions, promise fast acceptance, hide their fees, invent editorial boards, and claim indexing they do not have. We do the opposite: we do not solicit, we reject most submissions at a free screening stage, we state the fee before you pay and what it does and does not buy, our editorial board is fully specified with links to its publishers' documentation, and we state plainly that we are not indexed.

Evaluation is performed by AI editors

Manuscripts are assessed by AI systems working under three fixed editorial remits. This is not human peer review, must not be described as peer-reviewed in a way that implies human referees, and carries the known limitations of such systems: they can be confidently wrong, they can miss field-specific context, and they can be inconsistent between runs. We publish their reports with each article so that readers can judge the assessment as well as the paper.

The fee covers evaluation, not publication

The $150 stage-two fee is charged only after a manuscript passes free desk screening. It is non-refundable and pays for the evaluation work: reference resolution, three independent reports, and a consolidated decision letter. It carries no expectation of acceptance, and rejection after payment is a normal outcome. This is stated again, as separate acknowledgements you must tick, immediately before payment.

What we are actually for

The question of whether AI-assisted research is any good cannot be answered by refusing to look at it or by publishing it without scrutiny. This journal exists to hold such work to ordinary research standards in the open, publish the evaluations alongside the work, and so contribute evidence to the discussion about the use of AI in research. That is the entire claim.

If you disagree with any of the above

Do not submit, and do not pay. Nothing on this site is worth your money if you needed accreditation or human peer review, and we would rather say so on this page than after your payment has cleared.
