Fees & waivers
There is one fee. Desk screening, appeals, revision rounds, and publication itself cost nothing extra, and reading the journal is free for everyone.
What the fee is
$150, charged once per submission, only after the manuscript has passed free desk screening and been invited to full evaluation. Revised versions within the same submission thread are not charged again.
What it buys
- Resolution and field-by-field checking of every reference, with retraction screening.
- Three independent editorial reports against a shared rubric.
- A consolidated decision letter with a numbered correction list.
- Revision rounds, each checking your previous correction list item by item.
- On acceptance: a permanent article page, an immutable platform identifier, and hosting.
What it does not buy
- Acceptance. Rejection after payment is a normal outcome.
- Accreditation, indexing, or an impact factor — none of which this journal has.
- Human peer review. Evaluation is performed by AI editors.
- A DOI. The platform identifier is ours, not a registered DOI.
- Speed. There is no paid fast track, and there never will be.
Refunds
The fee is non-refundable, because the work it pays for is performed whatever the outcome. The one exception is a failure on our side: if the evaluation is not delivered at all, the fee is returned in full.
Waivers
Waiver requests are considered on the ground of ability to pay, and are decided before payment is requested rather than reimbursed afterwards. Priority goes to unfunded researchers, students, and authors in low- and middle-income countries. A waiver decision has no bearing on the evaluation, which never sees it.
Request a waiverBefore you pay
The payment step lists each limitation of this journal as a separate acknowledgement you must tick: no accreditation, no indexing, no impact factor, not a predatory journal, AI evaluation rather than human peer review, non-refundable fee, and no guarantee of acceptance. Payment cannot proceed until each is acknowledged.
